Weekly Announcements

Christmas In June - The Missions Council is sponsoring a toy collection for the month of June.  We are asking everyone to bring one new toy to be given to the many "walkins" at Christmas time who come in asking for help to provide gifts for their children at Christmas.  We have been doing this for many years but have never asked for help.  This year we had approximately 28 families which served around 90 children.  Please bring any toy, keeping in mind that this may be the only thing a child receives for Christmas.  Dolls, blocks, trucks, dinosaurs, games, legos, craft kits,  etc. etc. etc. are needed.  DAR has helped us in the past and we hope they will continue to do so.  Toys will be packed and stored until December.  Please bring the new toys and place them in the brightly wrapped box in the narthex during the month of June.  If there are any questions, please contact Cathy Campbell at This email address is being protected from spambots. 2021 Graduates - We would like to celebrate our graduates during Sunday Worship Services on Sunday, May 23rd. If you or someone you love is graduating this year, please fill out the online form by Sunday, May 9th at   Any questions? Please contact Pastor Arum

The SON Advocates - St Thomas  is now partnering with  the SON (Serving our Neighbors) Advocates. They exist to serve and advocate for our neighbors experiencing homelessness by connecting them to services while offering Christ like love and friendship. The SON provides a mobile van that is stationed every Tuesday from 3pm until 7pm at Manassas Presbyterian Church on Ashton Avenue. Here they are establishing relationships with our homeless community, to help them get services to help them get out of homelessness. They also meet immediate needs by giving health kits, some clothing and snacks. The SON would like to be open every day of the week but they need volunteers. This is a local homeless mission, unlike our DC homeless mission where we traveled into DC. We are looking for as many people as possible to help and it happens during daylight hours. If you are interested or want more information, please send Lori Perez, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. your name and email. The SON has agreed to do a special virtual training for our volunteers. The training lasts 2 hours. This is your Mission Council at work.

Return to In-Person Worship SURVEY is now closed.  Thank you for your input -- 82 people participated.
