God's Messy Family:
Finding Your Place When Life Isn't Perfect
Jan 11 - Feb 1, 2026
Families are meant to be places of love, belonging, and support—but anyone who has ever opened the Bible (or lived real life) knows that families are often complicated, imperfect, and messy. This January and the first week of February, we will explore a four-week sermon series, God’s Messy Family: Finding Your Place Where Life Isn’t Perfect, rooted in the stories of Genesis.

Through the lives of Abraham and Sarah, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph and his brothers, we will discover that God has always worked through flawed people and imperfect families. These stories remind us that God’s promises are not derailed by human weakness, conflict, or doubt. Instead, God meets us right in the middle of our brokenness—shaping faith, offering grace, and inviting each of us to find our place in God’s larger family.

Whether your family life feels joyful, strained, or somewhere in between, this series speaks honestly to the realities we face and offers hope grounded in God’s faithfulness.
