Exploring the Life of Christ Through the Revised Common Lectionary
Sundays
9 am Traditional Service | 11 am Contemporary service
While we often enjoy sermon series focused on specific topics, this spring and summer we will journey together through a different kind of rhythm — the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL).

You may be wondering, What is the RCL? The RCL is a three-year cycle of weekly scripture readings used by many mainline Protestant churches. It follows the Church Year and provides four scripture passages each Sunday: An Old Testament reading. a Psalm, a New Testament Epistle, and a Gospel reading.

Each year in the cycle emphasizes a different Gospel — Matthew, Mark, or Luke — with the Gospel of John interwoven throughout all three years. Together, these readings walk us through the life, teachings, and ministry of Jesus Christ.

Although we’ll be engaging with only part of the RCL this spring and summer, we believe these rich and meaningful texts will offer fresh insights, encouragement, and spiritual depth.

Join us as we reflect on the life of Christ through the beautiful and powerful stories found in these scriptures.
