SERVE
We believe faith is not a spectator sport reserved for the few but instead is a calling that we all have placed on our lives when we decide to follow Christ’s way! Every person, young and old alike, who are following Christ has a role to play in sharing God’s love with others through the church, community, and world. When we learn to serve others, our faith also grows deeper.
Please take a few moments to explore where you might dive in to be a part of what God is doing through St. Thomas…
“I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know; the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.”
~Albert Schweitzer

Sarah Hammack
Thank you to Sarah Hammack for helping to organize and label all books in our library with the Dewey Decimal System! The Library is now aligned with our Adult Discipleship Plan and is much easier for folks to use!

Confirmation Mentors
Thank you to Earl Amstutz, John & Cheryl Rosko, and Perry Bailey for serving as mentors this year. We appreciate your willingness to share your love of Jesus and our church with our youth! Our goal is for EVERY child to have at least five adults beyond their family who knows and loves them personally before they launch into adulthood. How might you share your faith with the next generation?

MITCHELL BANNER
Mitchell is one of the most faithful members of the Children's Council. He reliably assists with Sunday School and Children's Church where he shares his faith and commitment to the Lord with our children. He serves as a mentor at Tween meetings and is a dependable friend for kids working through the upper elementary years. In addition to helping with special events each season, Mitchell serves as a VBS crew leader to guide the children of our church through the summer program each year. Thank you Mitchell for using your spiritual gifts of faith, teaching and helping others!

Lawn Care Team
St Thomas would like to say thank you to our Lawn Care Team! Between early spring and late fall you can find the lawn care team working hard by mowing, trimming, edging, pruning and weeding the grounds of St Thomas every Thursday. We are so grateful to this dedicated group who take time out their schedules to help make our campus look beautiful!

Sharron Anderson
We are so incredibly grateful for our volunteers! We love you and appreciate all your hard work and dedication!
This Thursday we feature:
Sharron Anderson!
Thank you for helping to reorganize the choir room!
Sharron has given many hours to help reorganize the choir room. She has alphabetized music and thrown away old materials from our former campus on Westmoreland Street (we moved twenty-five plus years ago!). She also brought her inner designer skills to the project as she helped to redecorate the space for our many choirs! Thank you!

Cathy & Ron
Campbell
Thank you to this dynamic duo who have shared their leadership gifts over the past few years as the Chair of Trustees and the Chair of Mission Council! They have served faithfully and effectively behind the scenes to keep our campus in top shape (Ron) and to bless the least of these in our community (Cathy). Thank you!

Pat Brown &
Paula Renfro
Thank you to Pat Brown who just finished her tour of duty at as our Head Lay Leader in 2022 and welcome to Paula Renfro who will become the new Head Lay Leader in 2023. Both women, plus Bill Coppa, served beautifully together as our team of Lay Leaders throughout the past year. Thank You for serving as the hands and heart of Christ!

Riley Miller,
Pavel & Milan
Steen
Thank you to this trio who share their God given musical talents and faith to help lead us in our contemporary service weekly. Pavel Steen, Milan Steen and Riley Miller are a diving backbone in the praise band and have been for several years despite their youthful age. Pavel and Riley both started playing with the band at the age of 10 (if you can believe that) and the three have become an integral part of the Sunday morning worship. Thank you men, you ROCK!
