About the event
Join us on Fri, May 3rd at 10:30 am as we discuss "The Last Days of Night" by Graham Moore. No science background is necessary to enjoy this tale of Nicola Tesla, Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse as they race each other to be the first to produce a working (and safe!) electric light bulb. Told through the eyes of Westinghouse’s young lawyer, this is an endlessly fascinating tale that is part legal thriller, part history lesson and part devious doings by larger than life characters. The price society pays for new technology is germane to our current times. All ladies are invited, if you haven't read the book!
