This  year’s Lenten Devotional will be themed around our Covenant Life  together.  As humans, we are naturally independent.  We believe in God  and in Christ, and consider ourselves Christians, but we can be  skeptical about fully belonging or committing ourselves to anything.  We  think we can live a good life and stay on the sidelines.  Sometimes, we  believe it might be easier to be a better person if we don’t have to  trouble ourselves with engaging with the faith community.

Before  we join the church, we ask ourselves “Why should I become part of a  local church?  Will my membership vows mean anything?”  At St. Thomas,  we believe they do!   Belonging to the body of Christ is a vital part of  our faith journey.  During Lent, we will explore the Covenant Life we  live together in community with God, the membership vows we make, and  the keys to everyday discipleship.

When you sign up to create a  devotion you will be sent a Lent Devotional Entry form to guide you  through all the information you need to provide along with your devotion  (i.e. brief information about you, scripture reference, etc.)
