You're Welcome Here!
Worship at St. Thomas
We welcome you to become a part of God's ministry in our midst. We invite all people and especially seek to provide a church home for those who haven't found a place where their faith can grow and their gifts are shared for God's glory.
Sunday Worship Times:
9:00 AM - Traditional Service with Hymns, Organ, and Piano
11:00 AM - Contemporary Service with Praise Band
A children’s message is provided weekly at the Contemporary Service and the sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.
Worship services are offered in-person and via livestream via our website and through the St. Thomas Facebook page at the times noted above. These options help to ensure the health and well-being of our community.
Welcome to St. Thomas United Methodist Church!
I'm Pastor Matt, and I'm excited to share with you who we are and what we stand for. Our mission is simple: to reach, nourish, and serve the community so that everyone can experience healing and new life through Jesus Christ.
At St. Thomas, we offer a variety of programs and opportunities for outreach and mission work. Our open communion table welcomes all who believe in Jesus to participate. Communion is available on the first Sunday of the month during both services and every Sunday at the 11 AM service.
Join us for our traditional worship service on Sundays at 9:00 AM or our contemporary service at 11:00 AM. We also invite you to our Tuesday evening dinners starting at 5:00 PM at our Manassas campus (8899 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA).
To learn more about us and get involved, call our church office at (703) 368-5161 or explore our website. We hope to see you at our next Taste of St. Thomas event, especially designed for newcomers.
Blessings,
Pastor Matt

Current Sermon Series
One on One with Jesus
Sermon Series | Jul 7 - Aug 11
The Gospels share how Jesus was a master teacher to the multitudes but some of his most powerful moments were his one-on-one encounters with individuals. This summer we will look at six one-on-one encounters Jesus had with people in need. In each case these people were immediately and individually known and understood by Jesus. He quickly perceived their underlying condition more clearly than even the individual themselves. We will learn from these people how Jesus reached them and made them feel valued and made whole again;
forever changing them by his one-on-one encounter with them. And the good news is, Jesus continues to do this today; meeting us and dealing with our cares and concerns.
