MEET OUR SCC TEAM

Sunbeam Children's Center is licensed through the Virginia Department of Education and the Virginia Department of Social Services. All staff at Sunbeam Children’s Center are qualified child care providers. They hold degrees or have many years of experience working with children and are certified in Adult and Pediatric CPR & First Aid. Upon hiring each staff member, we perform a fingerprint based national criminal history search and sex offender check.   We also require each staff member to have 16 hours of enrichment training outside of the classroom per school year. Each class is registered with VQB5 (Virginia Quality Birth to 5 years) and has an observation in the fall and spring to improve the quality of care our teaching staff has to offer.
