New Narthex Flooring Installation Underway!

Our red carpet in the Narthex greeted guests and members of St. Thomas UMC for more than 20 years.

It was time for an update.

The carpet has been removed and the new carpeted seating area in the middle of the narthex has been installed.

Sotheby's Flooring, a locally owned business, is seen installing the new narthex flooring surrounding the center carpeted area -- a "barrel" wood-look, luxury vinyl plank (LVP).

This beautiful 7x48 inch LVP is 100% waterproof flooring, scratch, stain, and dent resistant, and backed by a 10-year warranty. Its innovative pre-attached backing ensures supreme comfort under foot while its easy-install locking system make this vinyl plank perfect for such a high-traffic area! Our traditional, red carpet remains in the Sanctuary.
