This special service with the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion marks the beginning of the season of Lent, the 40 days (excluding Sundays) that lead up to Easter. Traditionally, this season helps Christians reflect on their mortality and sinfulness, and the dying of self that comes with new life in Christ on Easter. Offered in-person and livestream.
