Palm/Passion Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred journey of the Christian year. On this day we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, when the crowds waved palm branches and shouted, “Hosanna!” It is a moment of celebration and hope. But Palm Sunday is also Passion Sunday. The same week that begins with praise ends at the cross. We walk with Jesus from the cheers of the crowd to the cries of “Crucify him.” This powerful shift reminds us how quickly human hearts can change and how steadfast Christ’s love remains.
