New Lent Bible Study

The season of Lent encourages Christians to consider a different pace-one of slowing down, noticing, pausing. The short-term class for Lent will be based on the book “Pause: Spending Lent with the Psalms” by Elizabeth Caldwell. This book invites us to deeply engage with one psalm each week during Lent and Holy Week. Each psalm is paired with a theme and a suggested prayer practice to help us reflect on the psalm and theme. The book is available in paperback from Cokesbury for $13.99 or the ebook version can be purchased from Kindle for $11.99 or Barnes & Noble for $11.49. Since this study is based on Psalms, it is not absolutely necessary to purchase a book and it is will be easy to jump back into the discussion if you miss a Sunday.
